We manufacture a complete line of industrial agitators to serve the Chemical Processing, Petrochemical, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Industries. In addition, we manufacture a comprehensive line of mixers and agitators for the
water and waste treatment industry.

We have the technology and agitator design to meet your process requirements. We can design and fabricate the agitator with a sophisticated software from German company and otherwise our design engineers offer full-scale Auto-CAD drawings in 2-D and 3-D versions to facilitate your staff in machine placement and installation.

PURPOSE OF AGITATION

Liquids are agitated for a number of purposes, depending on the objectives of the processing step.
These purposes include:

• Blending miscible liquids
• Promoting Fluid Motion
• Dispersing solids into liquids
• Emulsifying immiscible Liquids

• Suspension solid particles
• Promoting heat transfer
• Dissolving gases into liquids

AGITATOR DRIVES

Motor Drive Agitator
The agitators in this model are driven with IEC Standard Motor. These agitators are designed for low viscosity or small volume applications or applications requiring high shear. The agitator model begin with the letter DDM

Geared Drive Agitator
The agitators in this model are all gear-driven, there are rotational speed of the agitator can be varied. These agitators are effectively used on higher viscosity products or larger volume applications. The agitator model begin with the letter TDA

There were two aims at the developing these two agitator model.
1) To design agitators with high performance to meet the customers requirements at nearly all conditions.
2) To design agitator model which not require expensive special machine tools or workers with extremely high skill

IMPELLER SHAFT DESIGN

Computerized programs are used for shaft design with respect to critical speed (ratio of operating speed to 1st natural frequency), shaft deflection, torque, bending and fatigue.

SHAFT SEAL

Several different types of seals are available for different pressure ranges.

1. Drip pan
2. Stuffing box gland packing
– Low pressure
– High pressure
3. Mechanical seal
– Single mechanical seal
– Double mechanical seal

Drippan
Used for preventing oil leak and/or dust enter into the vessel.

Stuffing box, also called a compression packing seal, can have three or more rings of a “packing” material.

Once installed and adjusted, mechanical seals require less periodic maintenance.

VISMEC Company Limited was established as a limited company on November 2001 with its registered capital of 1 million baht. On December 2006 the registered capital was increased to 1.5 Million baht. On November 2007 the registered capital was increased to 4 Million baht. Then on December 2010 the registered capital was increased to 5 Million baht.

We manufacture a complete line of industrial agitators or mixers to serve the chemical processing, petrochemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, health care industries. In addition, we manufacture a comprehensive line of mixer and agitators for the water and waste treatment industry

We have a long time of experience for design agitators or mixers with Dr. C. Ekkehard Stelzer (DSTC-Stelzer Consulting Agitator) from Germany more than 15 years experiences before set up Vismec Co., Ltd. Many year of experience, combined with technology and Germany agitator software, are the support the product of VISMEC agitators.

We can design and fabrication agitator to meet various of the industrial need. For our know-how and experience build up over years by the company, new assignment, development and testing in cooperation with our customer. PRODUCT WARRANTY
All VISMEC products are tested at the factory prior to shipment. Each part used in their construction has been carefully checked for workmanship.

If the product is installed properly, it is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment, providing that the directions on installation and maintenance given in the instructions are followed.

Under this condition, VISMEC Equipment will replace without charge any part proving defective within the guarantee period. The company will not, under any condition, be responsible for any charge for labor, repairs, or part, performed or furnished by others, nor for any consequential damages. Its liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of the part involved and in no case shall exceed the original purchase price of the equipment.

#2. WEDGE WIRE SCREENS

The VISMEC wedge wire screen component are made to specific specifications and design for liquid separation from process slurry, waste water treatment, pulp and paper, food processing and other industrial screening.

VISMEC screen product is custom designed to suit the specific requirements of the customer and enable a relatively low cost and high performance solution for the screening application. The high open area of the screen provides excellent capacity. The slot size of our screen is set in relation to the retention required, the standard slot size are 0.25,0.5,0.75,1.0 mm. and other screen slot size are required. Screen materials are 304 or 316 stainless steel and other materials available upon request.

PROJECT HANDLING PROCEDURE

Design Procedures and Control
Quality Control procedures cover all stages of product design with the specification, design approval and coordination taken to a high level by the Technical Manager. The design work is allocated to and carried out by our qualified and experienced Mechanical and EC&I Engineer’s.

The aim of VISMEC’s design control procedures is to ensure:-

• Product design planning.
• Design input parameters are complete and unambiguous.
• Drawings and other output documents meet input requirements and conform to customer
and statutory specifications.
• Product designs are reviewed, verified and validated to confirm customer requirements
have been fulfilled.
• Design changes are reviewed and recorded.

Project Quality Plan
Every successful contract handled by VISMEC, must go through various stages, from design to hand-over. The following explains the complete process in more detail.

DETAIL OF TEST /INSPECTION FACILITY /EQUIPMENT LIST
Inspection and tests shall be performed in according to the below items;-
• Material Inspection (Chemical Composition, Mechanical Property, Appearance/Dimension)
• Welding Inspection (Groove, Appearance, Nondestructive Examination)
• Appearance Inspection (Fabrication, Acid Cleaning for Stainless Steel, Buffing is required)
• Dimension Inspection (Body, Parts, Temporary Assembly at shop, Completed Equipment)
• Running Test (Running Check, No Load Running Test, Load Test, Performance Test, Noise Measurement, Vibration Measurement)
• Painting Inspection (Surface Preparation, Appearance, Thickness)
• Other (Lining Inspection, Marking Inspection, Packing Inspection)

DOCUMENTATION
Planning the design process starts at the outset of any project and is initiated by preparation of a quote document by the sales team to the Clients User Requirement Specification.

All successful tenders are formally handed over where a Project Manager and design team is appointed, operations then proceed with the organization, design and manufacturing stage.

The Project Manager assesses the design and manufacturing progress in relation to approved and well-structured Design Plan Requirements.

VISMEC assures Clients requirements are adhered to, checking for any anomalies and lack of clarity, they keep close liaisons with client representatives.

Models are built as necessary to verify ergonomic features of the product

Design output information and data is prepared in a clear and comprehensive format and all drawings are prepared on computer using AutoCAD.

VISMEC standard documentation is a mandatory requirement and the format reads as follows:-

• User Requirement Specification
• Equipment specification & Data sheet
• Equipment Assembly Drawing
• Calculation sheet (Motor shaft power & kW. ETC.)
• Spare parts list for equipment

When product build is complete, the design is fully validated by Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests. Product Operation & Manuals are issued with products after validation.
